A film By Lauren Clinton Clarke
After a chaotic gig gets her band kicked out of a bar, punk bassist Rex is blamed by their manager for holding them back. Left behind when the band mistakenly leaves without her, Rex embarks on an eventful trek through the streets of Hollywood. Along the way, she meets colorful strangers (including punk legend Mike Watt), hones a riff that once stumped her, and gains the confidence to take charge of her career. By the time she reunites with the band, Rex has landed a meeting with a record label on her own—proving that she doesn’t need anyone’s approval to succeed.
