The Last Note
The Last Note
Cyrus, an old-school punk, walks alone through the narrow streets of Castello, the historic district of Cagliari, his mind full of memories. His worn-out shoes and the defiant posture of someone who never gave in to society tell the story of a life shaped by rebellion and pain. As he nears the place where he’s to meet his daughter—whom he hasn’t seen in ten years—the thought of seeing her again unsettles him. Is he truly ready to face the past?
But he’s not alone. A dark, disturbing presence creeps through the alleyways, breathing in sync with him—a mirror of a guilt that refuses to let go. With every turn, every step, the shadow draws closer, more tangible. Time is running out. The encounter is near, but something ominous looms, threatening to shatter his chance at redemption.
A film by Roberto Pili
The Last Note is a short film suspended between memory and obsession, where the sounds of the past intertwine with the echo of an unavoidable omen. The punk spirit that once defined his life still reverberates, but with each chord, he moves closer to the inevitable: the final, fatal note.
