A young journalist wakes up in the middle of the night on a deserted New York City street with bruises on her face and body and realizes, to her horror, that she has lost her memory and doesn't know who she is. When a stranger comes to her aid, she embarks on a disquieting journey to recover her identity and find out what happened to her.
Director Statement
The film intends to serve as a warning about the increasing threat of violence against journalists as well as the concomitant threat to free speech. It was inspired by the Munchener Post journalists in Weimar Germany who courageously exposed the corruption and malevolent intentions of Adolph Hitler and the Nazi Party in spite of death threats and repeated assaults.
