Hook 2026

An escort, two clients, and the messy truth about modern intimacy.
Hook — communication is the new sexy.

Hook is a heartfelt comedy about Michael, a charming and supportive escort, visiting two new clients with unique desires. One knows exactly what she wants, the other is too scared to admit he has no idea! Through the experience, all three learn that communication is the new sexy.

Hook zips open the issues of dating, communication, masculinity and insecurity in the chaotic 21st century. Hook features Bafta award winning Mark Gatiss (Bookish, League of Gentleman, Sherlock), BAFTA award nominated Nathan Bryon (Rye Lane, Bloods, Some Girls), Rebecca Goodwin (also known as BeckyMil, with over a million followers across all socials) and award winning writer and director, Sean Joseph Young.

As a person just trying to live in 2026, I know how bombarded we are about what we should be doing, how every gender should act and what should make us happy. We are constantly put on boxes, when life is not that simple.

Hook is based on my experience of trying to understand myself. Lockdown should have been the catalyst for change in what made me happy, what I look for in a partner and how I live my life. Instead, I was cuffed by insecurity. I had to make a choice, do I live only in my imagination, or should I take a risk. I chose the latter, I spoke openly about what at least could make me happy, what I want in a partner, and what I want in life. Hook, is my celebration of that decision. And I hope it leads other people to take that risk, and be more open.

What is life without happiness?
